Tourette Syndrome Association of Ohio

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I'm new here. Where do I go first for basic information about TS or the TSA of Ohio?
A: Welcome! We're glad you're here, and we can help a lot. Your first e-mail should be to admin@tsaohio.org. Make your first call to 800-543-2675, or (in the Columbus area) 614-539-1795. We'll go from there to answer any further questions, or refer you to someone who can

Q: Can I submit things for this website or the Tic-ertape newsletter?
A: Of course! We're looking for good stuff all the time. Send material for the website to submissions@tsaohio.org. Send material for the newsletter to admin@tsaohio.org. We'll do our best to get it out there.

Q: Are the content of the Tic-ertape newsletter and the website the same?
A: Yes and no. Right now, as the website is being expanded, there's a great deal of overlap. Eventually (soon, we hope), the idea will be to send out the Tic-ertape twice a year, while the website is updated constantly.

Q: Can I get together and talk with other people and their families about Tourette Syndrome?
A: Certainly. One of the best ways is through our support groups, which we have all over Ohio. See the support groups section of this website. We also have a state conference every fall in Columbus.

Q: How can I help?
A: We thought you'd never ask! We always need money, of course. Even the smallest donations -- all are tax-deductible, of course, are gladly accepted. Send them to TSA of Ohio, P.O. Box 28345, Columbus, OH 43228-0345. And any kind of non-monetary contribution you can provide is also most welcome. We are always very much in need of board members, support group leaders, area representatives, in-service providers, and, really, anything you can do. (Want to help run this website? We need help with that!) Just drop us an e-mail at admin@tsaohio.org, or call us at 800-543-2675.
